防衛研究所　第22回安全保障国際シンポジウム
「技術革新と安全保障―東アジアの戦略環境に及ぼす影響―」のご案内

この度、防衛研究所は、第22回安全保障国際シンポジウム「技術革新と安全保障―東アジアの戦略環境に及ぼす影響―」を12月8日（水）にウェビナー形式にて開催する運びとなりました。

科学技術の進展が戦闘様相の複雑化に与える影響、米国・中国・ロシアなどの主要国のイノベーション戦略の現状と展望、技術革新が東アジアの戦略環境に及ぼすインパクトと日本の対応などについて、主要国の専門家を交えて多角的に議論します。

Invitation to the 22nd International Symposium on Security Affairs
“Technological Innovation and Security: The Impact on the Strategic Environment in East Asia”

The National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) is pleased to announce that the 22nd International Symposium on Security Affairs will be held on December 8, 2021. The theme of this year’s symposium will be “Technological Innovation and Security: The Impact on the Strategic Environment in East Asia.”

This online symposium will invite experts from Japan and overseas to discuss the impact of technological innovation on security from various perspectives. The topics discussed will include: the impact of technological development on the complexity of warfare; the current situation and prospect of the innovation strategies of major powers including the U.S., China, and Russia; and the impact of technological innovation on East Asian strategic environment and Japan’s response.

The symposium is open to the public. It will provide an opportunity to learn about an increasingly important but complex aspect of defense and security. We are looking forward to your participation.
